Mr. Nicholas Winterton

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs whether the British Government instructed its representative at the United Nations to take any action over Mr. Moynihan's speech made recently at the United Nations.

Mr. Rowlands

No instructions were sent to Mr. Richard to take action in respect of any of the several speeches made at the United Nations by Mr. Moynihan in the recent past.
