§ Mr. OakesThe Rating (Caravan Sites) Bill now before Parliament will, if enacted, lead in general to somewhat lower rate burdens in respect of holiday caravans. My right hon. Friend does not consider that a valid case exists for removing from caravan occupiers their legal obligation to contribute to the finances of the local authority in whose area the caravan is situated.
