Mr. Wm. Ross

asked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland (1) if he will publish in the Official Report a table showing the number of persons killed and injured, the number of explosions, the number of shooting incidents in which the security forces were involved, the amount of explosives, ammunition, shotguns, rifles, sub-machine guns, heavy and medium machine guns, hand-guns, mortars, and mortal shells, rocket projectors and rockets recovered by the security forces since 5th October 1968 to 31st December 1975, with sub-totals in each category at the beginning of internment the suspension of the Stormont Parliament, the first General Election of 1974 the beginning of the IRA ceasefire, and 31st December 1975, and the totals for the entire period.

(2) if he will publish in the Official Report a table showing the amounts claimed in respect of injuries to persons in each year, or in each financial year since 5th October 1968 to 31st December 1975, the amount of claims outstanding at 31st December 1975, and the amounts in respect of Army, RUC, RUCR, UDR. USC and civilians in each category and the amounts in each category actually paid.
