HC Deb 23 February 1976 vol 906 c1W
Mr. Stonehouse

asked the Attorney-General in which cases during the last 12 months he has reinstituted charges for hearing at the Central Criminal Court which had been thrown out at the committal proceedings at magistrates' courts.

The Attorney-General

I would refer the right hon. Member to my answer to his Question on 9th February 1976 concerning my approval for the reinstatement of charges. Information concerning cases in which the Director of Public Prosecutions has reinstated charges during the last 12 months could be obtained only at disproportionate cost.
