§ Mr. Michael McGuireasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if she will make a further statement about the latest developments in the Digmoor Health Centre dispute.
§ Dr. OwenAs foreshadowed in my reply to my hon. Friend's Question on 26th January—[Vol. 904, c.36–7]—the hearing of the appeal of the doctor concerned against the direction made by the National Health Service Tribunal was resumed on 16th February. I understand that the doctor has notified the Family Practitioner Committee that he will be absent from his practice until the end of this month. Arrangements have been made for his patients to be attended by any one of the other four doctors at present in practice at the health centre and the Family Practitioner Committee has written individually to all patients informing them of this.
