HC Deb 11 February 1976 vol 905 c215W
Mr. Mike Thomas

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment what was the total actuarial value of the pensions of all employees and board members of British Railways appointed by him and his predecessors at the latest available date; what were the numbers of persons involved; and what were the comparable figures a year earlier.

Mr. Marks

Details concerning pensions of employees are a matter for the Railways Board. The information in respect of Board members' pensions is not readily available and would be too costly to produce.
