§ 6. Mr. Lambieasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will now give a final decision on the applications to build an oil terminal and oil refinery at Hunterston in Ayrshire.
§ Mr. MillanIn the statement of policy guidelines for Hunterston on 9th July 1974 my right hon. Friend made clear his view that these applications should be refused. That remains the position. The need for a final, formal decision will not arise until the applicants either forgo or take up their statutory right to be heard at an inquiry.
