§ Dr. Edmund Marshallasked the Secretary of State for the Environment what action he proposes to take on the Yorkshire and Humberside Regional Strategy Review 1975 "The Next Ten Years".
§ Mr. John SilkinI have received this review which was published by the Economic Planning Council on 2nd February. The review will be considered by the Government Departments concerned with the various matters it covers, and I would also welcome comments from local authorities, other interested organisations and the public by 2nd April. In addition, I hope that the review will be debated in the Standing Committee on Regional Affairs. When the review's proposals and the comments thereon have been fully considered I will publish the Government's response.
