§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he will give for the longest and most convenient stated period of time the number and categories of workers admitted into the United Kingdom to take up employment such as doctors or dentists taking up professional appointments, ministers of religion, representatives of overseas newspapers, news agencies or broadcasting organisations, employees of overseas Governments, self-employed persons such as writers and artists and those categories mentioned in his Department's leaflet OW5; and what action is taken to ensure that these people obey the terms and restrictions of employment on their conditions of entry.
