§ Mr. Welshasked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether he intends to issue a code for local authority house building similar to that planned by the Department of the Environment; when this will be issued; and what specifically Scottish consultations he is undertaking in this connection.
§ Mr. William RossAdvice to Scottish local authorities on house building is given in circulars and in the various parts of the Scottish Housing Handbook which is currently being revised. As is customary, consultation with interested bodies in Scotland will be undertaken as necessary.
