§ Miss Margaret JacksonRecruitment to Her Majesty's Inspectorate will continue to the extent that suitable candidates apply. 468 Inspectors were in post in England and Wales at 1st December, of whom 48 were on loan to the Welsh Office. Figures at 1st April for the years since 1970 are as follows:
