Mr Lawrence

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment (1) how many persons are currently employed by Staffordshire County Council; and how many have been employed in each year since 1970;

(2) how many persons are currently employed by East Staffordshire District Council; and how many persons have been employed by his authority and its predecessor authorities in each year since 1970.
