§ 30. Mr. Newensasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he will raise with the United Kingdom's partners in the EEC the issue of the unfair competition to which British glasshouse growers are subjected as the result of the disparities in the costs of fuel used by growers in the Community.
§ Mr. StrangWe are well aware of these disparities. I am glad to note the steps which the Dutch Government have already decided to take to bring the price of natural gas to Dutch growers more into line with the price of oil. I understand that it is hoped that full price equalisation will be achieved in just over two years' time. We will of course be watching progress.
