§ Mr. Luceasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will list the number of attempts since 1965 which Her Majesty's Government have made towards a negotiated settlement of the Guatemalan claim to Belize.
§ Mr. RowlandsThere have been three series of negotiations with Guatemala since 1965 aimed at obtaining a settlement over Belize—from 1969 to 1972, during 1975 and a new series which started in April 1976 and is continuing.
