§ Sir Bernard Braineasked the Secretary of State for Social Services when he expects the necessary medical examinations to take place so that the claims of Mr. R. P. C. Crome, about whom the hon. Member for Essex, South-East first drew his Department's attention on 4th March last, will be heard by the appropriate tribunal; and if he will make a 1153W statement about the continued delay in resolving this case.
§ Mr. OrmeI regret that it has not yet been possible to secure the necessary medical report, but an appointment has been made for Mr. Crome to attend for hospital examination on 12th August. Through no fault of my Department earlier arrangements for obtaining a consultant's report on Mr. Crome did not come to fruition.
