Mr. Alan WilliamsThe Isle of Ely is eligible to benefit from the various measures introduced to alleviate unemployment caused by the recession. These measures include the Job Creation Scheme, the Temporary Employment Subsidy, the Recruitment Subsidy for school leavers, as well as the Accelerated Projects Scheme designed to bring forward investment delayed by the recession. The Isle of Ely will also be1116W eligible for the further help introduced by the Secretary of State for Employment on 3rd August to help unemployed young people.
