§ Mr. Alfred MorrisThe Ministry of Defence pays a pension of £11.37 a week to a soldier discharged today, plus a lump sum of £779. Where discharge took place between 1st August 1969 and 31st March 1973 and disablement was due to terrorist activity in Northern Ireland, the Ministry of Defence would make an ex-gratia payment of £9.26 a week.
