§ Mr. Albert Robertsasked the Secretary of State for the Environment, in view of the heavy volume of traffic passing through the villages of Oulton, Woodlesford and Swillington since the M62 was completed, if he will give urgent consideration to the proposed motorway to bypass these residential areas in the West Yorkshire metropolitan area.
§ Mr. MarksTwo of the four alternatives put forward in the consultations about a route between Kirkhamgate and Dishforth would bypass Oulton, Woodlesford and Swillington. It is hoped to make an announcement about the choice of referred route later this year.
