§ Mr. GoldingOn 20th July, the unemployment rates for the Swanage travelto-work area and for Weymouth Employment Office area, which together substantially cover the South Dorset constituency, were 5.9 per cent. and 6.3 per cent. respectively.
While I cannot give an assurance in the precise terms sought, I can promise that in making any decision affecting the future of Government projects within the South Dorset constituency full consideration will be given to the employment implications.
