§ Mr. Aitkenasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many prosecutions have taken place during 1975 and 1976 as a result of miners' and retired miners' concessionary coal allowances being disposed of in an unauthorised way.
§ Mr. JohnUnauthorised disposal of concessionary coal does not in itself constitute a criminal offence. I understand that records of any civil proceedings arising out of such transactions are not kept centrally.
