§ Mr. Nicholas Wintertonasked the Secretary of State for Social Services (1) when he expects the Annual Report of the Chief Medical Officer on "The State of Public Health" for 1975 to be published;
(2) why the Annual Report of the Chief Medical Officer on "The State of Public Health" for 1974 is still not available.
§ Dr. OwenThe report for 1974, which is expected to be published next month, has been delayed because of difficulties in the production of some statistics due to changes in the organisation of the NHS as from 1st April 1974. In future some of the statistical material will be presented differently, and thus it is intended that the report for 1975 will be published this autumn.
