§ Mr. Macfarlaneasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will list those clubs in the English First and Second Division of the Football League which have yet to comply fully with the measures introduced to combat football hooliganism.
§ Mr. Denis HowellThese clubs are now co-operating with my Working Party in the implementation of our recommendations. We are keeping the position under continuous scrutiny and good progress is being made despite sometimes adverse financial circumstances.
This season's experience has confirmed the wisdom of our recommendations, and they will be incorporated in the revised version of the "Guide to Safety at Sports Grounds" for use by local licensing authorities issuing general safety certificates under the Safety of Sports Grounds Act 1975.
