§ Mr. Gwilym Robertsasked the Secretary of State for Social Services what study he has carried out of the relative effectiveness of various anti-swine fever vaccines; and if he will make provision for the storage of adequate quantities of an offensive vaccine for a full national vaccination campaign should that be required.
§ Dr. OwenI assume that my hon. Friend has in mind the new swine-type influenza virus A. At present, studies of direct or relative effectiveness of vaccine prepared from this virus have not been completed, but trials are in hand.
