§ Mr. Trotterasked the Secretary of State for Defence whether it was originally intended to have six Jaguar squadrons in RAF Germany; whether it is now intended to have only five such squadrons; and, if so, what will be the reduction in front line Jaguar aircrat numbers in Germany.
§ Mr. JohnAs I informed the hon. Member for Newcastle under Lyme (Mr. Golding) on 6th April we will have introduced five Jaguar squadrons in our tactical air force in Germany by mid-1977. It has never been our intention to introduce a sixth squadron. The question of a reduction does not therefore arise.
