asked the Secretary of State for Defence whether he is satisfied that none of the Britannia aircraft used by Cuba to fly their mercenaries to Angola were aircraft sold by the Royal Air Force following the reduction in Royal Air Force transport strength.

There has been no indication that any of the former RAF Britannias have been used for ferrying between Cuba and Angola. A number of civil Britannia aircraft were purchased by Cuba some years ago.
