§ Mr. Cryerasked the Secretary of State for Employment how many booklets in the Health and Safety at Work series have been published; how many of these are now out of print, and in each case for 16W what reason; and when it is anticipated that each booklet now out of print will become available.
§ Mr. Harold WalkerI am informed by the Chairman of the Health and Safety Commission that a total of 56 titles have been published since the series was begun. Eight titles have been withdrawn as a natural result of obsolescence, i.e. the information now appears in a different form.
Five titles are currently " out of print " for major revision. This is not an unusual situation, especially in view of the range of subjects covered and the changed circumstances of the Inspectorate. The texts of all five titles currently out of print are expected to be ready for print production within the next three to four months.
