§ Mr. Trotterasked the Secretary of State for Industry whether he has been advised that Govan Shipbuilders are quoting a price to Kuwait for ships which may result in a loss being incurred.
§ Mr. KaufmanThe company has been in touch with my Department about these and other possible orders, but the hon. Member will understand that, for reasons of commercial confidentiality, I cannot discuss the details of negotiations with individual customers.

§ Mr. KaufmanThe current accounting year for Govan Shipbuilders Ltd. ends on 31st December 1976. When the audited accounts become available a copy will as usual be placed in the Library of the House.
