§ Mr. MeacherA special addition of £1.35 a week is added to the requirements of a diabetic in calculating his entitlement to supplementary benefit. This addition, which is intended to cover the extra cost over and above normal expenditure on food, was increased to its present level in November 1975 and is currently under review.
