§ Mr. Rookerasked the Secretary of State for Industry if he will indicate how many category I and category II firms, respectively, have forwarded comment to his Department on the discussion document entitled, "The Contents of a Planning Agreement"; how many companies in each category indicated a willingness or unwillingness to have such an agreement with Her Majesty's Government; and if he will make a statement.

Additionally a number of other companies and individuals have commented in other ways. More comments are expected. In general the views expressed have been about the system and its implementation rather than about willingness to participate.
