§ Mr. CarmichaelThere are about 2,000 pelican crossings in Great Britain. Accident data for them are not available light-controlled crossings sited away from separately, but they form the bulk of 175W junctions, on which an average of 32 pedestrian casualties a month occurred in 1974.
