HC Deb 12 November 1975 vol 899 c717W
Mr. Corbett

asked the Lord President of the Council whether he will consider a scheme to provide pre-paid envelopes addressed to the House of Commons, London SW1, in all post offices for issue on demand to the registered unemployed, retirement pensioners, widows, the disabled and those on supplementary benefit claimable on production of the appropriate benefit or pension book.

Mr. Edward Short

I would refer my hon. Friend to the answer which my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Industry gave him on 29th October about concessionary postal rates—[Vol. 898, c.542]. I do not think a special concession for correspondence with Members of this House is justified.
