§ Mr. Denis HowellThe Chairman, Mr. P. J. Liddell, was appointed on 27th July 1973 and he holds office until 30th September 1978. The terms of his appointment do not provide for dismissal during this period. He receives a salary of £7,675 per annum, plus threshold payments, and his post is a half-time appointment. The position at present carries no pension rights and no other benefits.
