HC Deb 11 November 1975 vol 899 cc678-9W
Mr. Loyden

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will provide new premises to replace Renshaw Hall in Liverpool.

Mr. Armstrong

Yes. The staff at Renshaw Hall are to be rehoused in separate offices at Toxteth, Wavertree and Everton within district centre developments. The Property Services Agency is currently considering a private development at Wavertree and solutions are being sought to meet the requirements at Toxteth and Everton. In the meantime temporary accommodation is being provided at Toxteth from January 1976 which will reduce staff at Renshaw Hall by one-third, and thus ease the overcrowding.
