§ Mr. Adleyasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department when he intends to make a provisional order under Section 262(8) of the Local Government Act 1972 ensuring that the provisions governing the licensing of public music and dancing previously applicable to premises in local authority areas, subsequently transferred to new county areas under the Local Government Act 1972, are applicable to those areas thus transferred to another county area, in the same way as they were applicable to the relevant premises prior to the passage of the Local Government Act 1972.
