§ Mr. Banksasked the Secretary of State for the Environment on what date he expects to be in a position to make a decision on the proposals for a Pudsey-Dishforth motorway route.
§ Mr. CarmichaelThe results of the public consultation on alternative routes for the proposed new road between Kirkhamgate and Dishforth are at present being analysed. Over 7,500 questionnaires were returned and many other comments received. It is too early yet to say when an announcement about the preferred route can be made.
