On 8th September 1975, 1,685 unemployed State registered and State enrolled nurses and State certified midwives and 1,468 unemployed nursing auxiliaries and assistants were registered at employment offices in Great Britain. 555W Information about the numbers of unemployed nurses is available from the occupational analysis of the unemployed which is compiled quarterly.
