§ Mr. Stephen Rossasked the Secretary of State for the Environment why it is necessary to replace all the trees recently planted in New Palace Yard.
§ Mr. ArmstrongIt was agreed with the Chairman of the Accommodation and Administration Sub-Committee of the Services Committee that the larger trees of the species—Tilia euchlora, which does not exude honey-dew—would be preferable to the common limes already in the Yard. The existing trees will be planted in the Royal Parks.
