§ Mr. Corbettasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science whether he has yet received any proposals from 329W the teachers' organisations on the establishment of a Teachers' General Council; and whether he will make a statement.
§ Mr. MulleyProposals were made in 1970 by a working party on a teaching council for England and Wales which did not prove acceptable to all the teachers' associations.
