§ Dr. OwenOur proposals for the future of alcoholism services are set out in Chapter 8 of the White Paper "Better Services for the Mentally Ill", which was published on 20th October. This stresses the need for a better co-ordinated network of locally based services. Progress towards these objectives must depend upon the availability of resources.
