§ Mr. BishopIn the United Kingdom, 6,638 registered milk producers with 249,477 dairy cows joined the Dairy Herd Conversion Scheme over the period of its duration. Of these, 2,760 producers with 109,712 dairy cows completed the conversion during 1975. The number of dairy cows in each case relates to the number kept on the scheme reference date 4th June 1973.
