Mr. Alfred Morris

I would refer the hon. Member to my reply to my hon. Friends the Members for Dearne Valley (Mr. Wainwight) and Eccles (Mr. Carter-Jones) on 29th April.—[Vol. 891, c.86–7.]

Mr. Hannam

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services what is the cost of the present model invalid tricycle; what will be the extra cost of improvements and modifications being carried out; and what is the proportion of present tricycle costs which goes to overseas suppliers of engines and other parts.

Mr. Alfred Morris

It is not normal practice to disclose Government contract prices. The extraction of the other information would require the use of resources disproportionate to its value.
