§ Mr. Alfred Morris:About 20 and 14 respectively. The present £10 allowance was intended specifically to relieve drivers of invalid vehicles from the effect of the increase in VAT introduced last November as an energy conservation measure; it is equal to the additional tax on about 120 gallons.
