§ 7. Mr. Tebbitasked the Secretary of State for Employment if he will introduce legislation to encourage the reorganisation of trade unions so as to facilitate the avoidance of inter-union disputes and of disputes between groups of workers within individual unions which result in industrial action.
§ Mr. Booth:The Trade Union (Amalgamations etc.) Act 1964 facilitated amalgamations between unions and I see no need for further legislation.
