§ Mr. Carter-Jonesasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if she will take the necessary steps to enable electrically-operated beds to be prescribed on the National Health Service for people who are bedfast, are frequently left alone and who suffer from bedsores.
§ Dr. OwenSuch beds may at present be prescribed if they are needed for continuation of medical treatment or as part of home nursing services.
