HC Deb 17 July 1975 vol 895 c589W
Mr. Jessel

asked the Secretary of State for Trade if he will publish in the Official Report a complete list of noise tests carried out on Concorde in the second week of July 1975, specifying details as to the nature of the test, the whereabouts and the statistical results; and if he will contrast the figures with those corresponding to other relatively noisy aircraft.

Mr. Hayhoe

asked the Secretary of State for Trade what noise levels have been actually measured at the monitoring points around Heathrow for landings and take-offs of Concorde during recent weeks: and how these compare with those of 707s. 747s. VC10s and Tridents.

Mr. Clinton Davis

I would refer the hon. Members to the reply I gave to the hon. Member for Richmond, Surrey (Sir A. Royle) on 16th July.—{Vol. 895. c.528–9]
