§ Mr. Kilfedderasked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland whether he will consider extending the terms of reference of the Northern Ireland Economic Council to include a special responsibility to consider measures to combat inflation.
§ Mr. OrmeNo. I am satisfied that the existing terms of reference allow the council to advise on all factors within Northern Ireland likely to have an effect on the economic growth, including the impact of inflation.
