HC Deb 17 February 1975 vol 886 cc306-7W
Colonel Sir Harwood Harrison

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment how many acres of building land in the inner London area are now awaitting redevelopment; and how many homes will thus be provided.

Mr. Kaufman

The latest information provided by the local authorities for the Action Group on London Housing shows that the total area of land in the Group A (Inner) London Boroughs identified as firmly available for housing programmes up to 1981 through redevelopment, excluding, therefore, green field sites, on which housing construction has not yet started, is 920 acres, to provide 32,000 dwellings.
