asked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland if he will make a statement about the shooting of

1974–75 grants of £3.1 million will be paid to area boards, £2.9 million to district councils and £1.2 million to voluntary bodies.

There are no plans for a universal civic service, but grants are given to various bodies which encourage and organise voluntary community service.
