asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what will be the cost of the new facilities which the US Government plan to construct at Diego Garcia.

I regret that in answer to a Question in the House on 29th January—[Vol. 885, c. 383] I inadvertently said that the cost is expected to be about £35 million. This should have been US$35 million.
