§ Mr. Normantonasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs whether, since his reply dated 19th December to the hon. Member for Newcastle-upon-Tyne, East (Mr. Thomas) and his reply to the hon. Member for Cheadle on 15th January, he can now inform the House of the progress he has been able to make with his representations to the Governments of Turkey and Cyprus for compensation for loss, damages and personal injuries suffered by the British subjects on the island of Cyprus.
